Q: What is the difference between Inlaid and 3D license plates?

A: Inlaid plates are two layers thick, about 3/16”. The design is inlaid into the plate flush. A 3D plate is one layer thick, about 1/8”. The design is raised off the license plate by another 1/8”. The inlaid plates are stronger and generally considered much nicer. Special orders (company logos, etc) are inlaid only.

Q: Can I get other colors? Can you match my logo’s colors? Unfortunately no. Acrylic mirror is only manufactured in certain colors. We stock the most popular colors only.

Q: Will the Blue (or Red or Green) background color match my car?

A: Probably not. The Black, White and Silver usually do though.

Q: I want the Navy Blue inlaid into black. Will that look OK?

It will look OK in the sun, but in dimmer lights the Navy Blue looks black, so might not show well. The Red Mirror and Purple Mirror are similar, but not as much so.

Q: Can I get a tracking number for my order?

A: Yes! If you paid with Paypal, your tracking number is shown in your PayPal Account. If you paid by Credit Card, please request your tracking number by email. sales@rockinplates.com. Please include your name and order number.

Q: You sent a Paypal invoice for a custom order, but I don’t have Paypal. How else can I pay?

A: The PayPal invoice can be paid with almost any Credit Card.

Q: I can’t log in. What should I do?

A: Click the “Forgot your Password” link on the log in page. This will reset your password and send it to the email address on file. Copy and paste the password from your email to the login password box. If this does not work, please send us an email.

Q: May I pay by Check?

A: We accept eChecks through PayPal only.

Q: I live close by. Can I pick up my order?

Sorry, we do not allow local pickup.

Q: Oh No! I clicked the Confirm button more than once and got charged twice!

No worries! We will cancel and refund the duplicate order. If you have not received a refund in 1-2 business days, please send us an email. Include your name and order number(s) if you have it.

Q: Its been 7 business days and my order still isn't here.

You should have seen it by now. If you live in an apartment, check with your leasing office. Sometimes the carrier will leave packages there. Also watch for a small yellow slip that indicates your package could not be delivered, and must be picked up at the Post Office. Otherwise, send us an email and we'll track it.

Q: I placed an order but didn't get a Welcome email or an Order Confirmation email.
